Building a new home should feel structured, transparent, and tailored to you. At Ochre Building Group, our process combines proven design foundations with the flexibility to personalise your home, creating a clear path from concept through to completion.

 

Through our partnership with AREI Designs, you gain access to a library of well-considered home designs, refined for real-world living and build efficiency. From there, we work with you to adapt and deliver a home that fits your lifestyle, your block, and your vision.

 

If you already have plans or are working with an architect, we collaborate closely to bring your design to life, ensuring a smooth build process, clear communication, and a high-quality outcome from start to finish.

Discovery Meeting

We meet with you to understand your ideas, requirements, and vision for your new home. During this stage, we review any plans or site information, discuss your budget, and explore suitable design options, whether custom or from our ready design range.

Once your direction is defined, we move into detailed planning, including master plans, engineering reports, and council approvals.

Please note: fees apply at this stage, as these services are provided by third-party specialists.

You’ll be guided through selecting finishes, fixtures, and materials to suit your style and budget, with access to trusted suppliers and a wide range of quality products.

Once selections are complete, we finalise project costs and prepare your Bank Pack for your lender or broker.

With finance approved and land ownership confirmed, we complete all final approvals and prepare your project for construction, ensuring everything is in place for a smooth start on site.

Your home is built through a structured construction process, including:

  • Site preparation & foundations
  • Structural framing
  • Roofing & external finishes
  • Internal works
  • Fixtures & final detailing
  • Final inspections

Once construction is complete, we carry out final quality checks to ensure everything meets our standards and your expectations. We then hand over the keys, marking the beginning of life in your new home.
